Stemming from in-depth operator feedback, the new Terex cabin on the CTL 272-18 luffing jib tower crane includes a comfortable work space for the operator, including a fully adjustable comfort seat. The cabin’s joystick controls feature a short stroke length to reduce arm movements and operator fatigue. Standard heating and air conditioning keep the cabin at convenient temperature, regardless if operating during cold winter months or the heat of summer. Large windows give the operator a panoramic view of the jobsite for enhanced visibility. In the event of a broken glass pane during operation, it can be replaced from the inside.
Seven different jib configurations from 98.4 to 200 ft. (30 to 61 m) on this new Terex crane give contractors the flexibility to meet a range of jobsite reach needs. Equipped with an independent safety line, all jib sections of the new CTL 272-18 crane deliver safe work at height, plus galvanized jib walkways provide long-lasting and dependable service life. The crane’s 19 ft. (5.8 m) counter jib boasts multiple job angles to meet demanding in-service and out-of-service conditions.

Unlike other ceramic 3D printers, which are typically expensive and relatively difficult to use, the CERAMBOT prides itself on being a highly affordable and accessible option.
With low range and 4×4 selected the AMT operates as a clutch-less manual and will keep engaged whichever of the gears the driver has selected.
A number of different counter jib configurations are also possible, as the counter jib comprises five modular elements that enable up to six different configurations. For example, when the crane is assembled with its maximum 80 metre range, the counter jib radius is 31 m; this can be reduced to 27 m when the range is 50 m; or to 21 m when the reach is 30 metres. The counter jib radius can be reduced by another 0.9 metres in all its configurations by using steel counterweights, which are offered as an optional extra.
In a move to improve the cost efficiency, service intervals have been extended to 12 months/15,000 kilometres for the 3.0 litre engines and 12 months/20,000 kilometres for the 5.2 litre.
